Emergency Storm Drain Repair on Turner Lake Road Starting Monday, 1/9/23

January 06, 2023

Due to an emergency storm drain repair, there will be lane and road closures on Turner Lake Road beginning Monday, January 9, 2023. Work will continue until the repair is complete. It is estimated that this will take approximately one week.

🚧During the day on Monday, 1/9/23, Dekalb Pipeline will be removing nine trees from the shoulder of Turner Lake Road. Therefore, the road will convert to one-lane as needed while they drop the trees. Select here for a map showing this traffic plan.

🚧For the remainder of the work, Dekalb Pipeline will have Turner Lake Road closed in the evening from approximately 7:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. The road will reopen during the day. Select here for a map showing the detour motorists can use during the evening.

Since this is a heavily traveled corridor, we ask that you please share this with as many of your friends, business colleagues and neighbors as possible. If feasible, please find an alternate route during the day on Monday to minimize the traffic that will accumulate due to the lane closure. And please factor in the detours into your travel plans as there will not be a pass through, other than the detours, available while construction is occurring each night.

We thank you for your patience during this inconvenience, but for the safety of our citizens, we must repair the storm drain as quickly as possible.
