FEMA Request for Assistance Portal & Deadline Information

The below information is a reminder from our friends at GEMA/FEMA for counties, cities, state agencies, houses of worship and certain private non-profits. These resources are for those who were impacted by the tornados/storms on January 12, 2023.

DR-4685 – Georgia Presidential Disaster Declaration is now ready to receive RPAs from Counties, Cities, State Agencies, Houses of Worship, and Certain Private Non-Profits from these declared Counties:  Butts, Henry, Jasper, Meriwether, Newton, Spalding, and Troup Counties.

 

To apply for Public Assistance, an applicant must be a registered user of the FEMA Grants Portal and submit a Request for Public Assistance (RPA).  To receive assistance, all eligible applicants will be required to submit this form through the Grants Portal at  https://grantee.fema.gov/  30 days before a Presidential Disaster Declaration. The deadline is February 15, 2023.
