• Parking is available in legal on-street parking spaces outside of the parade route and outside of the Square closure; in public lots on Usher and Stallings Streets; and in the parking deck on Elm Street.

• Handicap parking is available at the Covington Welcome Center (1143 Oak Street SE) and the parade will pass the Welcome Center on Conyers Street.

• This is a litter free event, and trash cans provided by Keep Newton Beautiful will be placed along the route. Please dispose of your used coffee and hot cocoa cups, candy wrappers, and trash in these boxes to help keep Covington and Newton County beautiful!

ROAD CLOSURES

Roads closing at 6 AM

• NEWTON DRIVE: Anderson Avenue to Mill Street

• MILL STREET @ Tate Street

• MILL STREET @ Phedora Street

• FLOYD STREET @ Anderson Avenue

• SQUARE & one block off except at Church Street (2 blocks off) and Washington Street (4 blocks off)

All other roads along the route (see link above in post) will be closing between 9:30 a.m. and 9:45 a.m.

We hope to see you Saturday morning throughout downtown Covington for the parade, and then join us again at Legion Field (3173 Mill Street NE) on Saturday evening from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. for the Lights at Legion Kickoff + Mistletoe Market!!!
