2023 LMIG Paving Around The City of Covington
The City of Covington received a Local Maintenance & Improvement Grant (LMIG) through GDOT for paving roads in the City. Milling and paving starts the week of October 9, 2023 and is scheduled as listed below.
October 05, 2023
🔸Carlton Trail: Begin milling & paving on October 9; Complete by October 14
🔸Ramsey Drive: Begin milling & paving on October 15; Complete by October 17
🔸Pennington: Concrete curb replacement on October 9; Complete by October 18
🔸Pennington: Begin milling & paving on October 18; Complete by October 27
🔸Lunsford Drive: Begin milling & paving on October 18; Complete by October 27
🔸Hendrix Circle: Begin milling & paving on October 18; Complete by October 27
🔸Flat Shoals Road: Begin milling on October 31, paving on November 1 or 2 and complete by November 3
The City of Covington used streetLogix to assist in grading the streets which is how the above roads were chosen. Completion of the project as scheduled is subject to delays due to weather. Please share the above information with any family or friends that live in these areas.
