Planning Commission Meeting-NOVEMBER TBD

The purpose of the Planning Commission is to review and make recommendations to Mayor and Council on proposed amendments to the comprehensive plan, zoning ordinance, official zoning map, and applications for special use permits. CPC meetings are held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month.
Historic Preservation Committee (HPC) Board Public Hearing
Wednesday, December 3, 2025 | 6:00 pm
The HPC makes recommendations to Mayor and Council on specific places, sites, districts, buildings and structures to be designated by ordinance as historic properties or historic districts.

Lights at Legion Kickoff with Mistletoe Market

The first night the Lights at Legion trees are officially lit at Legion Field includes the Mistletoe Market, Santa, food trucks, and the ice skating rink will be open!

City Council meetings are held on the first and third Mondays of each month unless otherwise scheduled due to a holiday. There will only be one council meeting in July 2025 & December 2025.
Board of Appeals & Adjustments (BOAA) Public Hearing

The BOAA has the powers to hear and decide variances and to hear appeals on decisions of the Planning and Development Department. Meetings are held on the 3rd Tuesday of each month.
Santa and Reindeer on the Square (NEW DATE: Different than on the Event Calendar!)
Tuesday, December 16, 2025 | 6:00 pm
Santa and LIVE reindeer will be on the Square to visit for the ultimate holiday evening in downtown Covington.
