Planning and Development is responsible for reviewing, permitting, licensing and inspecting all construction within the Covington city limits. In doing so, the Department enforces all relevant codes and ordinances, and provides technical assistance to the Mayor and Council as well as many of the City's Boards and Commissions.
The following services are offered by the Planning and Development Department:
- Review and Issue Permits (Building, Fence, Signs, Yard Sale, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, etc.)
