We do not collect glass for recycling. The city practices single-stream recycling where all items are combined at pickup and sorted at the recycling facility. When glass is collected, it breaks and contaminates the other items and everything becomes unusable.

The city still collects PET plastics such as drink and water bottles, HDPE plastics like milk jugs, steel and aluminum cans and paper and cardboard. Thanks for thinking of the planet when you choose to recycle.
