The extremely windy conditions have caused multiple power outages around the City of Covington's coverage area. Our crews have been out since 2 a.m. working and will continue to work as quickly as possible to restore power to our valued customers. Due to the large number of outages, including four broken poles currently, restoration may take a little longer than we want our customers to wait. Please stay safe and away from any powerlines that are down...they can still be "hot" which means electricity is running through them. Do not go near them. If you see a power line down, please call 770-385-2000.
