Attention City of Covington Electric Customers

 

You received the below notice in your utility bills about electric meter replacements throughout our system over the next four months. The meter replacement will involve a member of our Electric Department team approaching your residence to change the meter as well as a brief power outage during the swap. If you have any questions, please contact the City Electric Department at 770-385-2027.

 

Thank you for your patience during this upgrade. And one great new feature with our new meters? It will eliminate the need for customers to call in to report outages as the new meters will automatically notify our system of a power outage!
