Notice is hereby given that the Covington City Council has been invited to attend a Stormwater 101 information session in the Council Room located at 2116 Stallings Street, Covington, on Thursday May 16, 2024 at 10:00 AM. Stormwater 101 is designed to inform City leadership of the basic principles and requirements of the stormwater utility, and will be presented by Hope Larisey with Integrated Science and Engineering. Topics to be discussed during this session will include, but not to be limited to:

• Stormwater basics – the intent and goals of the program

• MS4 – Stormwater infrastructure, inspections, maintenance, and reporting.

• NPDES permit – Our regulatory permit issued to the City by the GA EPD, and our requirements and responsibilities.
