Thanksgiving Week Residential + Commercial Trash & Yard Waste Pickups

Please see the below schedule for residential, commercial, and yard waste pickup for the week of Thanksgiving, November 25-November 29, 2024.

November 22, 2024

RESIDENTIAL WASTE PICKUP

During Thanksgiving week, Latham Home Sanitation is advising all residents to roll their trash cans to the curb on the REGULARLY scheduled collection day. However, the pickup schedule will be as follows:
  • Monday-Wednesday: Routes will be ran as normal
  • Thursday, Thanksgiving Day: LHS trucks are parked to so team members may celebrate the holiday with their families. Please have all trash cans at the curb on Thursday evening for collection beginning Friday morning, 11/29, at 6 a.m.
  • Friday: Routes will be begin running on Friday so please have all containers at the curb on Friday by 6 a.m. LHS requests 36-hour window for drivers to complete Friday routes as they will also be picking up Thursday's route.

 

YARD WASTE

Yard waste will be picked up on its normal days (Monday-Wednesday & Friday), except for Thursday which will be picked up on Friday, November 29, 2024.
 
 
COMMERCIAL WASTE

Due to the Thanksgiving holiday, Waste Management services will run a day behind and FRIDAY trash pickup occurring on or after the holiday for your business could be provided one day late.
