Due to the Winter Storm Warning issued for Friday, January 10, 2025, City offices will be closed.

Due to the impending Winter Weather Warning for Friday, January 10, 2025, City of Covington offices will be closed. However, customer service, public safety, public works, and utility teams will be working to serve our community.
 
  • At this time, hazardous travel conditions are predicted and staying off the road and staying at home if possible are advised.

 

  • Please call 770-385-2000 to report a power outage. If you do not get an answer, our teams are fielding other calls, but our Electric Department will be monitoring outages as well. You can also report an outage by visiting our website at https://bit.ly/CityOfCOV_ReportAnIssue and selecting "Report A Power Outage."

 

  • Do not call 911 to report a power outage. 911 should be used for reporting emergencies only.

 

  • All garbage services for Friday and Saturday are suspended. Friday residential, yard, and business waste customers will be served on Monday, January 13, 2025.
