The U.S. Small Business Administration has reopened the deadline for physical damage loans in disaster-affected areas. Businesses and nonprofits in Newton County are eligible to apply for business physical disaster loans from damage caused by Hurricane Helene and may borrow monies to repair or replace disaster-damaged or destroyed real estate, machinery and equipment, inventory, and other business assets.

 

Homeowners and renters in Newton County are eligible to apply for home and personal property loans to replace or repair personal property, such as clothing, furniture, cars, and appliances damaged during Hurricane Helene.
