LMIG Paving 2026

The Local Maintenance and Improvement Grant will be paving roads throughout the city limits of Covington starting in January 2026. As roads are announced, they will be added to the list.

Monday, January 12, 2026

The City's paving contractor will begin milling and paving operations on the following streets within the city limits:

  • Village Drive from Carlton Trail west to the city limit
  • Colony Drive from Village Drive north to the city limit
  • Cherokee Drive from Village Drive north to the city limit
  • Clearview Drive from Village Drive north to the city limit

 

 

Tuesday, January 13, 2026

The City's paving contractor will begin milling the below roads (portions within the City limits) on Tuesday, and paving will occur on Wednesday, January 14, 2026:

  • Settlers Grove Road
  • Bent Pines Court

 

 

Friday, January 16 & Saturday, January 17, 2026: DELAYED DUE WEATHER

  • Miling & deep patching on Walkers Bend Parkway between Washington Street and Avery Street on Friday
  • Paving on Walkers Bend Parkway between Washington Street and Avery Street on Saturday
  • Traffic control personnel will be on site. One lane will remain open at all times.
