In consideration of the events of the last 24-hours as they relate to the spread of the COVID-19 virus, City Hall will remain closed to the public until further notice. Friday, March 13, the City of Covington tested a remote work plan for a majority of its employees and the test was completed with no major issues.

Public safety services will not be impacted by the remote work plan and citizens are still instructed to dial 770-385-2000 with non-emergency issues and 911 should they be experiencing an emergency.

The city's website,

www.cityofcovington.org

can be used to make utility payments and as a general source of information.

Please continue to practice good hygiene and consider staying at home as much as possible to minimize exposure to others. Thank you for your patience as we all navigate through this world health emergency.
