Disaster Recovery Center Opening in Newton County
FEMA will open a Disaster Recovery Center in Newton County on Thursday, February 2, to assist Georgians applying for disaster assistance following the severe weather on January 12, 2023.

FEMA representatives will be able to assist Newton County residents seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Bert Adams Scout Camp in the Ashley Leaders Center located at 218 Scout Road, Covington, GA 30016.
